Discover the pleasures of horseback-riding at the splendid chateau of Gué Péan (official site), situated between Montrichard, Saint Aignan and Contres.

Come ride at the chateau's stables, located at the edge of a forest that is home to wild animals.

The stable has been certified by the French Equestrian School.  Classes and guided tours are lead by licensed teachers with a diploma from the French government.

Enjoy the facilities in all sorts of weather:

  • a covered corral measuring 20 X 40
  • exercise corral measuring 30 X 60 (for practicing jumping obstacles and playing horse-ball)
  • a magnificent forest
  • a terrace with a view of the corrals
  • a heated room with a view of the corrals.


Open to children 4 and a half and up.

Open all year, with camps during school vacations (week, day, and half-day).

Several activities are offered:

  • classes all week for children and adults
